For which tasks (responsibilities)?

Gear Inc is a game studio from the USA, we work on iOS/Android games that have very high concurrent users and high network traffic in foreign markets (US/Europe/Arab). In order to expand our business in Italy, we are looking for an experienced HR generalist who will provide support and manage all functions of HR in our new office in Milan. 

Recruitment (50%)

  • Carry out the recruitment process from working with different stakeholders to define the needs, creating and posting Job Ads on the right channels, sourcing and selecting the right candidates, coordinating the test if any and interviews for assigned open positions;

  • Coordinate/ join in indoors or outdoors recruitment events (job fairs, seminars, university relations, networking) to promote employer branding and talent acquisition;

  • Do research on the market and competitors, understand external talent market movement and collect useful information to have a proper recruitment plan and program;

  • Support and suggest improvements to the entire recruitment process.

Compensation and benefits (50%)

  • Implement and monitor the periodic government compulsory insurance, health insurance to ensure it runs smoothly;

  • Manage the paperwork process related to employee including but not limited to labor contract, visa, work permit, temporary residence card (if any)... and maintain employee information storage systems;

  • Carry out start/stop work process for employee; 

  • Maintain regular contacts and ensure a comprehensive knowledge of current labor regulations, policy and procedure of company;

  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Management.

What kind of professional are we looking for?
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a HR Generalist is required;

  • Solid understanding of labor legislation and employment equity regulations;

  • Experienced with recruitment especially IT recruitment;

  • Efficient HR administration and people management skills;

  • Be able to work independently as well as teamwork

  • Strong customer mindset and collaboration skills;

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills;

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, both in Italian and English;

  • Background in Tech company with international culture and mindset is preferred.
