A European game development studio is looking for a talented 2D Casual Artist with a strong sense of style, composition, and visual storytelling. This is a project-based role for a partner studio, focused on creating juicy, character-driven casual art.
You’ll work with characters, environments, marketing illustrations, UI-friendly assets, and use AI tools to boost productivity.
Your goal is to deliver polished, style-consistent 2D art that looks great on mobile screens, is well-structured in layers, and is ready for production use.

Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?
Collaborate remotely with the game designer and developer to understand visual requirements and deliver assets aligned with the project’s style.
Create and polish high-quality 2D illustrations: characters, props, backgrounds, UI elements.
Assets preparation for the game engine and for Spine Animation
Use AI tools (Leonardo, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, etc.) to generate drafts, compositions, or elements and then refine them manually.
Overpaint, fix, and stylize AI outputs to fully match the given artistic reference.
Ensure clean layer structure for all delivered source files (characters separate, background separate, etc.).
Search for existing references, kits, or materials to speed up workflow when appropriate.
Maintain consistent quality, color harmony, shape language, and the project vibe across all assets.
Follow naming conventions and organizational standards for deliverables.
Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?
0.5–2 years of hands-on experience in 2D art for games (freelance or studio).
Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Krita, or similar illustration software.
Experience matching a given style and working with layered compositions.
Solid understanding of casual-game aesthetics: rounded forms, saturated colors, glossy textures, cute characters.
Experience using AI tools to speed up the workflow, with the ability to polish and correct results.
Previous work on casual or hyper-casual mobile games is a plus.
A portfolio showcasing character illustrations, marketing art, or casual-style assets.
