A well-established Helsinki-based game studio with a strong track record of shipping and maintaining globally successful titles is looking for a Lead Developer to own the technical vision of a live, long-running mobile game with a passionate global player base.

This is not a greenfield project — it’s a mature, complex codebase that needs a seasoned engineer who can keep it healthy, push it forward, and elevate the team around them.

Own the technical and architectural direction of the game with hands-on involvement

Lead technical discovery and evaluation for new features and internal tools
Act as the unifying tech voice across cross-functional teams
Collaborate closely with external partners and platform/data/security teams
Continuously improve tools, processes, and codebase quality

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

Proven experience as a technical lead in live, free-to-play mobile games

Strong C++ background across the full game development lifecycle
Skilled in profiling, debugging, and performance optimization
Experience with multi-platform development (iOS, Android; PC/Mac/Web a bonus)
Comfortable with CI/CD, branching strategies, rollouts, and incident management
Strong communicator who works well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
