3D Character Animator (Anime, Adult)

Ten-Te is a newly funded studio building a stylized anime-mecha adult game in Unity (PC) — a character-collection title with a launch roster of 20 characters and ongoing content updates after release.

• Character interaction scenes: loop-based animations with speed variations, transitions, and climax sequences.

• Multi-character scenes.

• Work on shared humanoid rigs across standardized body types, including mecha elements

• Facial expressions and blendshape work on key scenes

Technical expectations

• Strong command of Blender or Maya for character animation

• Experience producing game-ready animation: clean FBX exports, consistent naming and file conventions, engine-friendly rig practices

• Familiarity with Unity animation workflows (Mecanim, Timeline, humanoid retargeting) or proven ability to deliver into engine pipelines

• Ability to work to defined scoping norms and a steady delivery cadence within a structured production schedule

• Comfortable iterating through a lead-driven review and feedback process

• Effective async remote collaboration with reasonable overlap with European business hours

Requirements

• 2+ years of 3D character animation experience (games or animation production)

• Strong body mechanics, weight, and timing; confident with loops and cycles

• Understanding of Anime genre and style of body movment.

• Clean technical habits: rig discipline, non-destructive workflows, reliable FBX exports

• Portfolio or reel — NSFW samples are a plus but not mandatory if your body-mechanics work is strong

• Comfortable with explicit adult content within the project's content list

• All work must be original — no ripped or ported game assets

• Working English

• Experience delivering animation into Unity (Mecanim states, Timeline, humanoid retargeting)

• Anime-style animation sensibility (snappy timing, holds, smears)

• Prior work on adult or 18+ projects
