Art Lead

Values Value, the main recruiting expert in gamedev, is looking for experienced, talented, creative and self-motivated Art Lead for one of our clients, global game developer and publisher with studios all over the world.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Working in a team of talented artists to develop a style of game and create game content for social casino application; 

• Sharing experience and expertise to help the team grow professionally and develop high quality products; 

• Establish style and vision of the game including user interface look and feel; 

• Ensure the quality follow-up in the production process; 

• Managing team of 8−10 or more artists; 

• Preparation and distribution of tasks for the art department, control of terms and quality of execution.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• Proven experience in Art Direction, managing Art teams;

• Shipping at least one title; 

• Experience in the video game industry or similar creative research and development environments; 

• Understanding of content creation/management pipelines for game production; 

• Experience in creating art for social casino games; 

• Ability to meet deadlines in a strong team environment;

• Ability to analyze and improve workflows to enhance group productivity;

• Understanding and efficiently implementing the industry pipelines and able to manage challenging deadlines;

• Good level of written and spoken English (at least Intermediate level); 

• Passion for video games. 

Big Plus 

• Skills in graphic design principles, fonts, layout design, UI/UX function and design (tailored for social / casual games — clean, simple, fresh and readable art assets); 

• Understanding of Spine animation principles, key-frame animation; 

• Experience working with Unity; 

• Experience working with outsourcing teams;
