The Business Development Associate will play a vital role in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. This position is ideal for someone passionate about the gaming industry, eager to build a career in business development, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment. You will be responsible for researching potential partners, building lead databases, and supporting outreach efforts to grow our network of collaborators, clients, and strategic partners.
For which tasks (responsibilities)?
Lead Generation:
Research and identify new business leads including game studios, publishers, licensors, platforms, or service providers.
Build and maintain lead lists and CRM databases with accurate, up-to-date information.
Monitor industry news, events, and trends to spot new opportunities.
Outbound Support:
Assist in the preparation of outreach materials such as introductory emails, presentations, and pitch decks.
Help coordinate outbound campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and events.
Market Research:
Analyze competitors, market trends, and potential partners to inform strategy.
Support team in preparing research briefs and reports for internal use.
CRM Management:
Maintain and update CRM systems to track communication history and lead status.
Ensure data cleanliness and regular reporting.
Administrative Support:
Help schedule meetings, take notes, and support follow-ups with prospects.
Assist with events coordination (e.g., conferences, trade shows, networking events).
What kind of professional are we looking for?
Strong research and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal.
Passion for the gaming industry and an understanding of its ecosystem (developers, publishers, platforms, etc.).
Comfortable with tools like Excel/Google Sheets, CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), and LinkedIn.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively.
Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Previous experience in a sales, marketing, or BD support role is a plus but not required.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with industry events such as GDC, Gamescom, PAX, etc.
Experience working in or around game development or publishing.
Multilingual abilities (especially for global market outreach).
