About Renderer Studios
Renderer Studios is a fast-growing, full-cycle AAA art services partner delivering concept, 3D modelling, animation and mocap clean-up for next-gen engines. We work with English-speaking PMs to minimise miscommunication and to keep complex art pipelines on track. Our talent has supported global publishers, including Tencent and ZeniMax Online Studios, and we operate from a Singapore HQ with international remote teams and clients worldwide.
We’re now building out our Western client base (EU/UK/NA) and looking for someone who knows how to open doors with game studios and publishers and keep the opportunities flowing. If you understand how art outsourcing is bought and delivered in games, this is for you.
For which tasks (responsibilities)?
You will be the first dedicated business developer focused on Western markets. Your main goal: generate qualified opportunities with game studios, publishers and co-dev partners and help turn them into signed projects (3D, animation, mocap clean-up, concept). You’ll work closely with our producers/art leads to scope projects and make sure our proposals match the client’s pipeline and engine requirements. This is a hands-on, outreach-heavy role — not just “waiting for inbound.”
Key Responsibilities
Prospect & outreach: Identify target studios/publishers in Europe, UK and North America (PC/console/mobile) and contact decision makers (producers, art managers, outsource managers). Build and maintain a lead database/CRM. InGame Job
Pitch our services: Present Renderer Studios’ capabilities (concept → 3D → animation → mocap clean-up) and our cross-cultural PM approach to remove friction for Western teams.
Qualify opportunities: Understand project scope, timelines, art style, engine (UE/Unity/prop tools), budget level and outsourcing maturity of the client.
Coordinate proposals: Work with internal art/production to prepare estimates, case studies and production plans that reflect client needs. iLogos
Drive the sales cycle: Follow up, negotiate terms within given guidelines, and support contract/sign-off. StudySmarter Talents
Account farming (light): After a successful delivery, check in with the client and look for add-on work, next art batches, or new titles. swooped.co
Market intelligence: Track new releases, funding announcements, and hiring news in Western markets to spot who is likely to outsource next. InGame Job
Event support: Help prepare for online pitches, industry meetups or East-West introductions where relevant.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
Requirements
2–4 years of experience in business development / sales / account growth in the video game, game services, CG/animation, or IT outsourcing space. (Similar roles in game art outsourcing expect industry familiarity and a BD mindset. StudySmarter Talents+1)
Proven ability to book meetings and convert them into paying work with Western clients.
What is important for us in a person?
Excellent English (spoken and written); able to write cold outreach and sales emails that get replies.
Good understanding of how game art is produced (2D/3D, characters, environments, animation pipelines, mocap clean-up) and why studios outsource at different stages. Devoted Studios
Comfortable working with time zone differences and in a remote, multicultural setup.
CRM discipline (HubSpot/Pipedrive/Sheet-based is fine) and basic sales reporting.
Nice to have: existing network of art directors, outsource managers, or producers in EU/UK/NA. (This is often a key success factor in similar BD roles. Welcome to the Jungle)
