CI Engineer

We are looking for a CI Engineer to work with TeamCity in our Developer Experience Team. At Scorewarrior, CI isn’t just a support tool — it’s a critical internal product that drives development across the entire company.

Its stability and speed directly impact:

• How quickly teams can ship new features.

• How confidently we go to production.

• What kind of onboarding experience new developers, artists, and designers get.

• The name of the project(s): Total Battle
• Platforms: iOS, Android, Browser, Mobile, PC

Team size and structure?

DevEx Team: Team Lead, Senior CI/CD Engineer, Tools Developer

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Improving existing TeamCity pipelines and developing new ones using KotlinDSL.

• Managing build agents — both on-site (Mac and some Windows) and on-demand (in Google Cloud).

• Increasing the stability of pipelines and keeping them up-to-date with internal requirements and TeamCity updates.

• Refactoring pipelines to keep them manageable (there are ~2k build configurations on our server right now, everything as-code).

• Improving the UX of running pipelines and understanding fails.

• Participating in on-call duty rotation (not during the night) to help teams resolve CI-related problems quickly.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• Strong experience of working with non-trivial CI pipelines (something more complex than docker build && docker push) as-code.

• Good experience working with TeamCity.

• Experience with Python or another scripting language to make complex CI steps more manageable

• Experience developing optimized Docker containers for use in CI.

• Above-average knowledge of Git.

• Basic experience with Infrastructure as Code (preferably with Terraform)
