Streamline has over two decades of experience optimizing our partner's goals through the application of creative video game technologies and research & development.

We’re an independent video games developer and publisher. We work on both internal IPs as well as AAA projects with partners around the world. Some of the titles we've worked on are Torchlight 3, Final Fantasy XV, Street Fighter, and many more.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our talented Game Development team. The individual should be self-motivated and be able to spot inefficiencies in our pipeline to come up with solutions to resolve them. At Streamline Games, you’ll enjoy an opportunity to work on the latest development platforms & hardware and tinker away!

  • Delivering excellence

    • Maintain + improve existing automation pipeline

    • Maintain SCMs across various projects

    • Expand and maintain build machines.

    • Document and peer review technical designs and code with fellow programmers.

  • Communication

    • Flag inefficiencies in projects

    • Keep the Lead Programmer up to date regarding status of tasks at all times.

    • Schedule own time wisely, notify Producers and Lead Programmers when encountering roadblocks and challenges.

  • Team and personal development

    • Support the development of cutting-edge technologies for use in our games and improvement of workflow practices.

    • Be open and work with constructive criticism, direction and changes.

    • Consistently refine one’s own abilities and keep up to date with the newest technologies as well as in-house tools.

What kind of professional are we looking for?
  • Be a knowledge hungry tinkerer!

  • Bachelor’s degree in Game Development, other comparable degree area, or comparable experience.

  • Basic network infrastructure knowledge.

  • An interest in computer hardware. Having built a computer before will come in handy.

  • Experience with Docker.

  • Solid understanding and experience with CI/CD.

  • Understanding of Unreal Engine’s Build Tool & Automation Tool.

  • Expert knowledge on P4, SVN & Git.

  • Experience with Jenkins or TeamCity.

  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of game optimization and performance profiling skills are a plus!

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills (English)

  • Experience with console platforms such as Nintendo Switch, Sony PS4/PS5, Microsoft Xbox is a bonus!

  • Be able to communicate well in English.
