Vizor Games is seeking a Lead System Game Designer to work on the mobile project Klondike Adventures.
For which tasks (responsibilities)?
Planning, organizing and monitoring the work of the game design department.
Building and developing the project game design department.
Collaborating with other departments within the project.
Participating in the development of crucial game, structural, or tool features.
Designing new and enhancing existing game mechanics.
Analyzing the results of new features and the project as a whole.
Seeking and implementing the best monetization and engagement practices in the mobile gaming market.
Improving the key metrics and generating and tesingt hypotheses.
Adjusting game balance.
Working with project analytics (reports on released features, analysis).
Writing clear and understandable project documentation.
Ensuring the maintenance of up-to-date GD documentation of the project.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
At least 3 years of experience as a lead/senior game designer.
Portfolio with released casual games.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the specifics of mobile games and audiences.
Familiarity with the mobile gaming market and extensive gameplay experience in different genres.
Experience in feature management as a Feature Owner.
Experience with analytics.
Knowledge of all basic product metrics (monetization, retention, engagement, etc.), ability to operate and influence them.
Knowledge of game mechanics, experience with game balance.
Skills in decomposing features and entire games, understanding interdependencies in games.
Ability to prepare game design documentation.
Extensive gaming experience in the following genres: adventure, farm, simulator.
Experience with A/B testing.
Experience with product analytics and a data-driven approach in decision-making.
Systems thinking, ability to analyze and evaluate task feasibility.
Proactive approach to work, a strong sense of responsibility, and ability to work in a team.
