Legal Counsel

We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our legal team, who will be primarily responsible for providing advice on various intellectual property and commercial matters. As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for IP clearance of AAA video game and related marketing materials, as well as negotiating deals and drafting various commercial contracts.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Provide full IP clearance of AAA video game and marketing materials, including carrying out searches through IP databases, advising on the risks, and implementing risk-mitigation strategies.

• Provide legal research and advice on all aspects of intellectual property and publicity rights.

• Draft and negotiate a wide variety of contracts.

• Provide support and advice on commercial and IP-related matters, including content production, marketing campaigns, collaborations and sponsorships, endorsement.

• Create templates, guidelines; establish new processes and identify opportunities to improve existing processes.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• University degree in Law.

• PQE 8+ years, either in a law firm and/or in-house, with at least 4 years of experience gained in a similar role.

• Hands-on experience in intellectual property matters, particularly, in relation to copyright, trademarks, designs, and intellectual property and publicity rights clearance.

• Excellent skills in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.

• In-depth knowledge of intellectual property (EU / UK / USA), contract, and consumer protection laws and regulations.

• Fluent in English and Russian.

• Strong analytical and communication skills.

• Business-oriented approach to finding solutions, ability to make decisions independently, and excellent attention to detail.
