Product Director

Values Value, a recruiting company with expertise in gamedev, is looking for a Product Director for our client.

We often help startups form a core team that will develop new products, whether it would be the AAA project on PC and Console or a new f2p mobile game.

What are you working on?

• Genres: Action, Adventure, Role-playing, Strategy, Sports, Shooter, MMO
• Platforms: PC, iOS, Mobile, Android, Console

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Organize and control of the development, implementation and balancing of multiplayer game systems (game modes, progression systems, player abilities and weapon balance);

• Set a high-level vision for the game and be able to translate this vision into game systems designed so that everyone can use them for their gaming experience;

• Creation of project documentation with a plan for the entire game (from gameplay, level design to adaptation experience and interface);

• Organize and control the creation of levels, missions and other aspects of the game to create the best gaming experience with creative and addictive gameplay;

• Participation in the development of budgets, presentation to the team of progress and milestones;

• Keep abreast of new technological solutions and market trends, develop production processes and identify best practices;

• Formation and management of the project team;

• Management of stages and milestones of project development from scratch;

• Work with analytics.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• Good understanding of the PC or mobile games market, ability to analyze the market, see trends;

• Required experience in AAA projects;

• Experience as a Game Designer on pvp projects;

• Knowledge and experience in systems design;

• Knowledge and experience in game balancing;

• The presence in the portfolio of a commercially successful project developed from scratch;

• Good technical background, understanding of the specifics of the gaming industry;

• Willingness to take a product from idea to launch, and beyond;

• Good analytical skills;

• Good project management skills, and time management skills with a proven ability to focus on priorities, solve problems, juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive outlook.
