Senior/Lead Core Game Designer

Nekki is a game development studio, the creator of Shadow Fight Arena, Shadow Fight 3, Shadow Fight 2, 11×11, and Vector. The total number of registered users for our games exceeds 1 billion worldwide. We develop and release games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms.

We are looking for a Senior Core Game Designer to join the team of our legendary project - Shadow Fight 3 - it's a fascinating action-RPG fighting game that immerses players in the Shadow World. They battle various enemies, enhancing their hero and utilizing a rich selection of weapons, armor, and fighting styles. The game allows players to create a unique character and explore a deep, well-developed world with a history of over 15 years.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Team management – planning, setting tasks, reviewing.

• Maintain complex features, collaborate with other departments.

• Develop the combat system and RPG components of the project (modernize balance and characteristics of the equipment, develop the set system, develop new game modes).

• Prototype in-game mechanics.

• Perform regular play-testing of the game.

• Analyze user behavior and functionality of features based on user data (analytics / reviews / logs).

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• At least 2 years of proven experience as a game designer within commercial projects.

• Rich gaming experience in various genres, and in particular in games with a large number of equipment and stats (RPG, MMORPG, Battlers), and games with a contact combat system (fighting games, slashers).

• The ability to communicate your ideas and understand the ideas of other participants of the process.

  
  Would be a plus:

• Work experience as a team leader of 2-4 employees.

• Relevant gaming experience on various platforms.

• Experience working with Unity.

• Experience working with Git.
