Dear Candidate, we are looking for you to explore the Game Dev world!
Fractured Byte is a game development studio whose experience involves work on titles such as Borderlands: The Legendary Collection and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 for Nintendo Switch. We are a team of experienced professionals, focused on video game development for РC and consoles.
What are you working on?
- Genres: Action, Adventure, Simulation, Shooter
- Platforms: PC, Console
For which tasks (responsibilities)?
Integration, creation and modification of content (shader, VFX, post-processes).
Development of additional tools for working with content.
Resolving Content Issues.
Maintaining technical documentation for the project.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
Experience as a Technical Artist (UE4) - 1+ year.
Understanding the render pipeline, PBR, and shaders.
Knowledge of post-processing, particle systems, lighting, creating and setting up materials, optimizing content in UE4.
Experience with Content Creation Software (DCC).
Portfolio is must-have! =)
A strong candidate has:
Experience with a version control system.
Experience in automation and scripting.
Practice with other engines.
English at least pre-intermediate.
What is important for us in a person?
Willingness to take on non-standard and new tasks.
Expertise in related disciplines: Animation, VFX, 3D, Level Design.
Desire to make games.
