For which tasks (responsibilities)?
About the Role:
We are looking for an intermediate or senior-level Mobile Game UI Designer or Technical Designer with strong animation skills to strengthen our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for both animating UI elements and technically implementing user interfaces and assets within Unity.
This position is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in UI design and animation who also has the technical experience to bring designs to life in a game engine. You’ll work closely with design, art, and development teams to deliver high-quality UI that feels smooth, polished, and responsive on mobile devices.
Key Responsibilities:
Take full creative ownership of how our UI feels and moves – design and animate menus, transitions, and interactive elements that truly enhance the player experience
Build responsive, high-performance UI layouts and prefabs in Unity that look great and feel good across devices
Drive the transformation of ideas, concepts, and early designs into fully functional, in-game user interfaces
Collaborate as a creative partner with UX, art, and game design – your input will actively shape flows, interactions, and feedback
Define and manage the systems behind UI states, transitions, and animations – from rapid prototypes to final polish
Ensure a seamless and scalable integration of assets and animations into our Unity pipeline
Take initiative in identifying UX and technical challenges – and lead the way in solving them with smart, elegant solutions
What kind of professional are we looking for?
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in UI/UX implementation or technical design in Unity-based mobile games
Deep knowledge of Unity’s UI system, Animator, prefabs, animation controllers, and Unity events
Strong understanding of motion design and user interface animation principles
Solid technical know-how to work closely with developers and connect UI components to game logic
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Self-driven and comfortable owning UI tasks from start to finish
Nice to Have:
Experience with Unity UI Toolkit
Knowledge of shaders or visual effects for UI feedback
Basic to intermediate C# scripting skills
Knowledge of DOTween
Experience with mobile optimization and asset management
A passion for clean, intuitive, and responsive UI in games
