Vivid Games is one of the leading Polish mobile game developers and publishers but also a team of almost 60 individuals on a mission to entertain players with great games. We are the first remote company, having an office in Bydgoszcz.
We're on the lookout for a skilled Senior Gameplay Programmer. As a Senior Programmer, you'll bring ideas, create new features, and develop the game's mechanics. You’ll be working alongside the multi-disciplinary team to design and implement, outstanding game features that players will enjoy for years to come.

Team size and structure?
Approx. 20 ppl. Structure: Product Owner, Producer and the rest of the team (artists, programmers, testers, designers etc.)
For which tasks (responsibilities)?
1. Work closely with the development team to design, prototype, and implement gameplay experiences.
2. Focus on the specific game areas like game mechanics, controls, modes, multiplayer, and AI.
3. Take ownership to ensure that features and systems implemented are presented at quality within the game experience.
4. Follow best practices, development processes, documentation, and coding standards.
5. Reviewing code, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for (not only) code improvements.
6. Mentor less experienced people, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
1. Shipped at least one title and 5+ years of game industry experience.
2. Vast professional experience with Unity and multiplatform development.
3. Deep understanding of C#.
4. Deep understanding of Unity 3D physics system (colliders, bodies, joints, etc.).
5. Experience with scripting and working with animations.
6. Experience of working with shaders.
7. Multiplayer development experience.
8. Experience in developing AI.
9. Understanding of mathematical concepts needed in game development.
11. Reviewing code, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for (not only) code improvements.
12. Experience with Git and other version control systems, understanding of branching policies and workflow.
13. Excellent initiative, self-motivation, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to both drive and follow directions.
14. Nice to have: experience with working on Quantum Engine as RB3 multiplayer uses that technology.
15. A genuine interest in playing games. A love for games with deep engaging combat as well as a passion for martial arts is a big bonus.
