Volmi — A Virtuos Studio is an outsourcing company that specializes in game development and game content creation. Over the past 9 years, we have successfully completed over a thousand different projects and have gained considerable experience in creating 2D and 3D art, as well as developing turnkey games. Since 2022, we have been a part of Virtuos, the world’s leading game developer, and have become the first Virtuos studio in Eastern Europe.

In particular, we have contributed to the development of popular games such as Diablo 2: Resurrected, Metro Exodus, Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, Smite, Paladins, Gwent: The Witcher Card Game, and Marvel Snap. Therefore our team creates high-end gaming content and games for various Mobile, PC, Console, and VR projects.

Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?
  • Create high-quality props and modular environment kits (architecture) in Blender for a semi-stylized game environment;

  • Translate concept art and asset briefs into detailed 3D environment assets that align with the project's visual direction;

  • Set up and apply stylized, semi-procedural materials with a painterly look;

  • Import assets and kits into the game engine, ensuring proper integration and functionality;

  • Collaborate closely with level artists and designers to ensure assets are reusable, efficient, and visually consistent;

  • Maintain consistency across materials, scale, and detail levels while adhering to performance budgets;

  • Optimize existing assets and perform polishing tasks to enhance overall visual quality;

  • Communicate regularly with the art and design teams to ensure visual alignment and implement feedback effectively.

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role;

  • Solid knowledge of modeling and texturing software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Substance Painter). Experience with Blender is preferred;

  • Understanding of stylization principles in game art;

  • Ability to create high-quality, optimized assets for real-time environments;

  • Understanding of modular environment design principles;

  • Experience with a modern game engine (Unreal, Unity, CryEngine, Lumberyard etc).
