Middle 3D Environment Artist

N-iX Game & VR Studio is a team of 100+ professionals, delivering top-quality games, game assets, and VR solutions to various game and media enterprises and startups. Among our clients are Paradox Interactive, Wargaming.NET, Tempo Storm, and other established game businesses and VR startups. We are currently looking for an experienced 3D Artist to work remotely, in-house, or on a freelance basis to deliver great-looking realistic 3D characters for AAA games of different genres.

Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?

• Creation of high-quality assets with given concepts and requirements

• Match the required art style of a project

• Work with game engines (Unity), assemble scenes, lighting setup

• Optimize of finished objects in accordance with the specified technical limitations

• Cooperate with other artists to streamline the art creation process

• Work with team lead to create a plan and schedule

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

• Experience with UE4, Unity

• Good understanding of composition and lighting

• Good knowledge of gameplay and level design

• Strong knowledge of 3dsMax/Maya/Blender, Photoshop, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Marmoset Toolbag

• Strong modeling and texturing skills

• Ability to rationally distribute polycount at the facility

• Understanding different UV types (tiles, rectangular, UDIM)

• Good understanding of PBR pipelines for texturing

• Ability to follow and correctly interpret the concept

• Ability to create 3D models from the photo, drawing

• Understanding of modern pipelines and technical limitations for creating environment

• Strong portfolio showing 3D art skills

• Good organization, time management, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Familiarity with the game development cycle
