Senior Data Engineer

Our client is a young product studio founded in 2025, composed of experts with a proven track record in game development, marketing, and analytics. Studio focus is on developing word and puzzle games with commercial potential and scalability in mind.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will take technical ownership of our BI stack and data infrastructure. This role requires experience in designing systems from the ground up, a strong sense of responsibility, a structured approach to problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?

• Design and deploy a fault-tolerant BI architecture in AWS

• Set up data pipelines using Airbyte and Airflow

• Integrate various data sources and implement ETL/ELT processes

• Ensure data quality, structure, and availability for analytics

• Set up monitoring, alerting, logging, and CI/CD workflows

• Optimize AWS costs

• Maintain and scale the solution over time

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (Redshift, Glue, Lambda, EC2, S3, etc.)

• Excellent SQL skills (including analytical functions and performance optimization)

• Confident Python skills (focused on data pipeline development)

• Solid understanding of Data Lake / DWH architectures

• Experience with Airflow and Airbyte (or similar tools)

• Ability to design cost-effective and scalable infrastructure

• Experience with setting up monitoring and security in AWS

  
  Would be a plus:

• Experience with Kafka, Docker, CI/CD tools

• Familiarity with BI tools such as Superset, Metabase, Tableau, etc.

• Hands-on experience with dbt

• Understanding of DataOps, Data Governance, and Data Quality principles
