Senior Data Science Engineer

We are CM Games, an independent game developer. Established in 2010 and headquartered in Tallinn, we're on a mission to create experiences that are loved forever. 

We're currently on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Data Science Engineer to become a key player in our Data Science team. In this role, you'll tackle large-scale and intricate tasks across diverse game projects, from generating ideas to testing and seamlessly integrating them into our products.

Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?

• Addressing the full cycle of machine learning tasks within high-loaded game projects: from ideation to testing and implementation in the game (predicting player behavior, optimizing gameplay, and enhancing recommendation systems).

• Conducting experiments and generating new hypotheses geared towards achieving the intended result swiftly;

• Immersing yourself in extensive volumes of raw, unprocessed data to contribute to solving product-related challenges;

• Creating, refining and running full-cycle data and outcome prediction pipelines;

• Building and optimizing ML models, while also visualizing and presenting the results in a compelling manner;

• Writing production code tailored for a large audience of real players.

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

• Practical problem solving using machine learning methods;

• Strong mathematical and statistical proficiency;

• Excellent command of SQL and Python;

• Familiarity with Spark, experience in handling big data;

• Good grasp of machine learning algorithms;

• Ability to write clear and efficient code;

• Experience in both independent work and collaborative teamwork;

• Ability to articulate and present the results of your work with clarity.

• 3 or more years of hands-on experience in addressing similar tasks.

A Big Plus Will Be:

• Eagerness to embrace and adapt to new technologies;

• Product-based thinking, ability to formulate and test hypotheses;

• Genuine love for games;

• At least a B1 level in English.
