Senior Level Designer

Values Value is a recruiting company with expertise in gamedev, is looking for an experienced Senior Level Designer for one of our clients, an enthusiastic team who makes the best MMO action game on mobile devices.

The project is a mobile multiplayer online action with an open world and a focus on social interaction.

Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?

• Develop prototypes and designs for game levels, including the placement and customization of objects in levels, adjusting the balance of game situations and mechanics according to technical and stylistic requirements.

• Develop and implement new game mechanics.

• Conduct initial testing of crafted levels.

• Configure basic lighting in scenes.

• Conduct a systematic analysis of the game's statistical indicators in order to improve the project.

• Develop communication with managers and members of other departments for the successful accomplishment of tasks by the level design team.

• Develop and keep up to date the department's technical documentation.

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

• Successful experience in prototyping game locations or scenes, which could be confirmed or demonstrated, including by completing a test assignment.

• Proficiency in 2d graphics development software (Adobe PhotoShop) and 3d graphics development software (3DS Max, Maya, Blender).

• Confident skills in Unity.

• Basic knowledge of real-time rendering systems.

• Excellent knowledge of current principles and trends in level design and game vision.

• Knowledge of the fundamentals of graphic design 

Will be a plus:

• Experience working on third-person shooters/ action games.

• Experience as a tester or technical artist.

• Understanding of the process and specifics of mobile game development.

• Understanding of optimization principles and ability to keep them in mind while completing assignments.

• Existence of commercially successful game projects in a portfolio.

• Skills in texturing.

• Basic C# programming skills.
