Unity Developer

If you're a Unity developer based in Cyprus who you are interested in working for a creative game development studio, we would love to hear from you.

We are currently looking for an experienced senior level Unity developer to join our team. Initially, remote work is expected with a further transition to work in our studio or in a co-working/hybrid format. 

Creativity and a willingness to learn are important, but above all, it is also essential that you are able to use Unity at a high level and confidently write C# code.

Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?

• Collaborate with the design and art teams to develop gameplay mechanics and systems in Unity;

• Implement and optimize game features, ensuring smooth performance across different platforms;

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code;

• Debug and fix issues reported by testers and players;

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and actively contribute innovative ideas.

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Unity Developer;

• Strong proficiency in C# programming language;

• Extensive knowledge of Unity and its ecosystem;

• Experience with Addressables;

• English at least level B1;

• Experience with optimizing game performance for different platforms;

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams;

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns;

• Proficiency in using version control systems, such as Git, for collaborative development;

• Experience in working with third-party plugins and assets in Unity;

• Knowledge of mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and experience in optimizing games for mobile devices;

• Familiarity with game physics and mathematics, including collision detection, rigid bodies, and kinematics;

• Understanding of game AI concepts, including pathfinding, behavior trees, and state machines;

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks, while also being a proactive team player;

• Experience in implementing UI/UX elements and integrating audio into games;

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues;

• Solid understanding of software development life cycle and agile development methodologies;

• Knowledge of multiplayer architectures and technologies, such as client-server communication and peer-to-peer networking;

• Familiarity with performance profiling and optimization techniques in Unity, including GPU and CPU optimization;

• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and collaborate with team members of varying technical backgrounds;

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills;

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with multiplayer and networking in Unity;

• Familiarity with mobile game development and optimization;

• Knowledge of 3D graphics and shaders;

• Experience with Photon;

• Experience with PlayFab;

• Experience with GraphNodes;

• Experience with Spine;

• Experience with UnityEditor tools;

• Experience with Data Serialization.
