Unity Developer

Values Value is a recruiting company with expertise in game development and is currently looking for an experienced Unity Developer  for a new top-down shooter. As the sole developer at the start, you will be responsible for building the project from scratch, with subsequent scaling of both the project and the team in the future.

Our client is a publisher of hybrid-casual games, their team helps game developers quickly test their projects on a live audience, develop the game, and release it to the market.

Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?

• Develop and iteratively improve the project from scratch;

• Implement core gameplay logic (movement, shooting, collisions, AI);

• Integrate user input and controls;

• Optimize performance, perform profiling, and adapt the game for various devices;

• Analyze and refactor technical debt;

• Participate in brainstorming sessions and generate feature/gameplay hypotheses;

• Conduct code reviews and create technical documentation;

• Collaboration with the producer and game designer to generate and validate hypotheses.

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

• 3+ years of experience as a Unity Developer;

• Experience launching a mobile project from scratch to scaling (hyper-core or hybrid-casual titles preferred);

• Proficiency in C# and understanding of the .NET framework;

• Experience in optimizing Unity applications;

• Strong knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns;

• Understanding of Git and Git Flow;

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools;

• Understanding of the game development lifecycle (top-down shooter);

• Experience with fast build creation and deployment;

• Skills in integrating SDKs (analytics, ads, etc.);

• Basic understanding of key metrics (CTR, Retention, CPI, etc.) and their importance;

• Knowledge of F2P mobile game specifics;

• Proficiency with AI tools in development.
