VFX Artist

We are working on Project Morning Star, a dark low-fantasy medieval tactical RPG set in a grim depiction of 14th-century Europe. With the lands invaded by the minions of hell, players find themselves tasked with building and leading an order against the arch demons, hoping to free humanity from the scourge that has been haunting it. One core pillar of our combat is “tactical action”, standing for combat that not only asks the player to strategize and plan, but also combat that looks, sounds and feels fu***** amazing. A key component in achieving that is proper VFX. As we also have our own unique art style, you’re not only challenged technically, but also creatively and have to make sure that what you’ll create fits into the bigger picture.

Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?

• Creation of 3D visual special effects (combat effects, explosions, flames, dust, water etc.) with implementation in Unreal Engine

• Collaboration with designers, artists and programmers with regards to design and implementation of VFX

• Creation of components of the effects (e.g. textures, materials)

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

• Good eye for 3D animation, motion design, pacing, impact, physics, etc.

• Expert understanding of real-time VFX tool of your choice

• Familiarity with VFX implementation in Unreal Engine

• Good communication skills
