Video Game Writer

We're looking for a talented Video Game Writer with experience in writing for TV or cinema to contribute to a consistent and compelling narrative experience for our upcoming release, an action/adventure game for all PC & console platforms.

Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?

In collaboration with the creative director and the art director, your main missions will be to:

• Understand the intentions of the creative teams, and translate their vision into words.

• Write the overall story of the game.

• Expand on the lore.

• Shape main & secondary characters arcs.

• Define the narrative structure, designing how the story will be told through the game.

• Write the dialogues, the cutscenes and all narrative text that player will encounter during the prelude (var: game intro / prologue etc).

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

Your profile:

• A degree in Creative Writing, Literature, Film, or equivalent.

• 5+ years of writing for TV series or cinema.

• Proven writing experience in game production.

• Shipped at least one project as writer.

• Solid understanding of the video game industry, market, and modern culture.

• Passion for fantastic genre literature and for horror genre.

• Interest and knowledge of Quentin Tarantino, John Carpenter, Sam Raimi, The Walking Dead, etc.

• Proven experience in narrative arcs writing.

• A highly creative, collaborative, empathetic, and innovative spirit.

• Curiosity, flexibility, and resourcefulness, adapt to feedback.

• Good problem-solving, organizational, communication, interpersonal, presentation, and mentorship skills.

• Proficient English level.
