3D Character Artist

Volmi — A Virtuos Studio is an outsourcing company that specializes in game development and game content creation. Over the past 9 years, we have successfully completed over a thousand different projects and have gained considerable experience in creating 2D and 3D art, as well as developing turnkey games. Since 2022, we have been a part of Virtuos, the world’s leading game developer, and have become the first Virtuos studio in Eastern Europe.

We’re looking for a 3D Character Artist for contract cooperation to join our AAA project (Photorealism) — someone who can turn approved concepts into stunning, game-ready characters, push their quality to the next level in 3D, and support the team with both artistic vision and technical expertise!

На какие задачи (обязанности)?

• Collaborate closely with the Art Director and other stakeholders to deliver high‑quality character assets;

• Iterate on feedback from the Art Director/ stakeholders and refine assets to final quality;

• Contribute to art‑team meetings with constructive input and support;

• Model, sculpt and texture realistic clothing, facial features and hairstyles.

Какого профессионала ищем?

• Realistic clothing creation skills (Marvelous Designer, ZBrush, any 3D package, UV tiling, baking, Substance Painter);

• Knowledge of exporting Presets and MetaHuman;

• Realistic hair creation skills (xGen/ manual cards, CG Curve workflows);

• Experience with Unreal Engine 5/5.6;

• Expert knowledge of several major 3D & 2D packages (3ds Max or Maya, ZBrush, Photoshop, Substance) and the techniques for characters, creatures and costumes;

• Deep technical understanding of modern pipelines, clean topology and polished sculpts;

• Proven ability to take an approved concept and push it to a refined 3D production level;

• At least В1 English level.
