Development Lead

Values Value, a recruiting company with expertise in game dev, is looking for an experienced Development Lead for our client, the world’s first company that connects esports and gaming with FMCG retail. 

A new Lead Developer will set the standard for technical work and take responsibility for developing the game, implementing new features and improving existing code. We’re looking for a strong, hands-on manager to lead an outsourcing engineering team and build in-house one in the future for developing complex, high-scale mobile games.

The client works with the Unity engine, AWS gamelift.

На какие задачи (обязанности)?

• Manage the development cycle and identify the engineering tasks and processes needed to execute on the roadmap.

• Maintain documentation and tools for team development: code styles, manuals, Unity project configuration, etc.

• Ensure that the games are being built with a productive methodology and solid coding practices, technical briefs, code reviews.

• Develop and implement project architecture and infrastructure, ensuring scalability of development, project support, and growth.

• Identify technical risks on project and develop contingency plans to put into place.

• Propose solutions to improve the development of project.

• Maintain positive working relationships with the outsource engineering team.

• Hire and grow a team of Game Developers in the future.

Какого профессионала ищем?

• 3-5+ years of experience as Technical Lead, Unity Team Lead. 

• Deep understanding and experience in client (Unity) side and good knowledge in server side technologies. 

• Preferable midcore games experience. 

• Expertise in managing a team.

• Good English knowledge, at least – Upper-Intermediate level.

• Excellent communication skills.
