As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design and build scalable and robust systems that enable and support our new free-to-play game in Unreal Engine.

На какие задачи (обязанности)?

• Design and build scalable and robust systems that enable and support our game 

• Gather and analyze requirements together with other stakeholders 

• Lead and mentor junior colleagues 

• Help develop deployment infrastructure 

• Work together with game developers, DevOps engineers, and producers 

Какого профессионала ищем?

• Hands-on experience in designing and developing microservice architectures to produce scalable, maintainable backend systems. 

• Kotlin Proficiency, including familiarity with Spring Boot and/or its alternatives. 

• Good understanding of RDBMS, and NoSQL databases. 

• Experience with real-time communication protocols (WebSockets, gRPC, etc), and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc).

• Experience with test-driven development with a high level of quality. 

• Experience in developing game backend architectures (state management, real-time player interactions, high load); and systems that support matchmaking, leaderboards, in-game economies, etc.

• Independent, analytical, and a high level of ownership. 

• Successfully delivered highly scalable systems into production. 

• Strong communication skills in English.
