На які завдання (обов'язки)?
Frogwares is looking for a Senior Level Artist to join the development of our new survival horror game – The Sinking City 2. We’re seeking a creative, technically skilled, and detail-oriented artist who can take ownership of large-scale environments and ensure they are visually compelling, gameplay-supportive, and narratively rich.
Responsibilities:
Design and build high-quality 3D environment art, including modular and unique assets, using Unreal Engine 5 and industry-standard 3D software;
Compose engaging, playable, and visually immersive levels in collaboration with Level Designers and Narrative Designers;
Take ownership of level art from blockout to final polish, including asset placement, lighting, and visual storytelling;
Ensure technical performance and memory efficiency across platforms through effective optimization and clean asset management;
Maintain consistent visual quality across levels and contribute to establishing and maintaining visual benchmarks.
Якого професіонала шукаємо?
5+ years of experience in environment or level art roles in the game industry;
At least one shipped AA or AAA game;
Strong 3D modeling skills: experience creating game-ready assets (high poly/low poly, UVs, baking, texturing);
Deep understanding of level composition, architecture, and environmental storytelling;
Proficiency in Unreal Engine and tools such as Maya/3ds Max/Blender, Substance 3D Painter/Designer, Photoshop;
Solid experience with lighting, world-building, and post-process setup;
Good understanding of technical constraints and performance optimization for real-time engines;
Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
Strong spoken English — ability to work effectively in an international team.
Nice to Have:
Basic knowledge of shader creation and material setup in Unreal Engine;
