На які завдання (обов'язки)?
We are looking for a Narrative QA Specialist who will ensure the quality of all narrative content — from documents and dialogues to full in-game implementation. Your role is to make the story cohesive, logical, and truly engaging for players.
Responsibilities:
Feature QA
Perform manual testing of gameplay features: functionality, stability, UX.
Conduct regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
Create, track, and maintain bugs in JIRA, providing clear and actionable feedback.
Maintain up-to-date test cases and test plans for all content and features.
Narrative QA
Review Story Documents, Outlines, Breakdowns, Capsules, and Scripts for logic, consistency, and narrative quality.
Run QA passes on character, world, and design documentation (Character Bios, Story/Character Bibles, Style Guides).
Test Narrative Design Docs, Feature Wrappers, Specs, and Presentation Decks.
Validate mission implementation: branching missions, quests, dialogues, triggers, progression logic, and localization.
QA all player-facing text: descriptions, UI copy, naming, modals, system strings.
Support ongoing live narrative content and updates.
QA cinematics and VO: timing, text/audio sync, line delivery.
Requirements:
2+ years of QA experience on narrative-heavy or content-driven game projects.
Strong understanding of narrative structure, logic, pacing, and character consistency.
Experience with narrative tools: script editors, dialogue systems, localization pipelines, and in-engine implementation workflows.
Hands-on experience testing branching missions/quests and complex progression logic.
Excellent command of written language: grammar, style, tone consistency.
Experience working with VO and localization: sync, subtitles, multilingual integration.
High attention to detail and a genuine passion for storytelling in games.
Nice to Have:
Experience in Narrative Design or Writing.
Understanding of 4X or ARPG mission structures.
Basic familiarity with game engines (Unity / Unreal).
