Strikerz Inc. is a videogame-creating collective and an international gaming brand launched in 2016 by a handful of people involved with online football. Currently, there are 300+ of us spread over 4 regional offices in various locations across Europe or working from home (yes, we love it too). Strikerz Inc. is the force behind the UFL, the ongoing online football videogame revolution. Being fans, we aim at offering our players an unprecedented gaming experience available on all major platforms.

На які завдання (обов'язки)?

We’re seeking a Localization Manager to join our Localization department. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in bringing our football games to life for a global audience, ensuring that every user interface text and voice-over script resonates with football enthusiasts around the world.

Responsibilities:

• Manage localization team, plan versions and distribute activities. Report to Higher Management on the status.

• Manage the localization of in-game written content, ensuring it captures the spirit of the game and engages players globally.

• Oversee the voice-over localization process, from recording to final integration.

• Coordinate end-to-end localization projects, from the roar of the crowd to the anticipation of a penalty kick, ensuring seamless execution.

• Utilize memoQ for efficient translation management, maintaining translation memories (TMs) and glossaries for consistency.

• Collaborate with and manage vendor teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables on time and within budget.

• Provide paralegal and accounting support for external teams, ensuring smooth and compliant operations.

• Conduct thorough QA assessments, identifying and fixing bugs to ensure the highest quality of localized content.

• Participate in automation processes, streamlining workflows for greater efficiency, much like orchestrating a well-practiced play on the football pitch.

• Proficiency in memoQ and other leading localization tools.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies, including Unreal Engine (UE).

• Fluency in English.

• Fluency in Russian.

  
  Desirable:

• Experience in automating localization workflows is a plus.

• Additional language skills are a significant advantage.

• A deep passion for football, with an understanding of its culture, terminology, and global appeal.
