Lead 3D Animator

Volmi - A Virtuos Studio is an outsourcing company that specializes in game development and game content creation. Over the past 8 years, we have successfully completed over a thousand different projects and have gained considerable experience in creating 2D and 3D art, as well as developing turnkey games. Since 2022, we have been a part of Virtuos, the world's leading game developer, and have become the first Virtuos studio in Eastern Europe.

In particular, we have contributed to the development of popular games such as Diablo 2: Resurrected, Metro Exodus, Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, Smite, Paladins, Gwent: The Witcher Card Game, and Marvel Snap. Therefore our team creates high-end gaming content and games for various Mobile, PC, Console, and VR projects.

На які завдання (обов'язки)?

• High performance  and quality of the animation department;

• Create consistent high-quality gameplay character and creature animations;

• Create custom rigs for new asset classes based on Art Director and Game Designers visions;

• Work with Art Directors, Technical Artists and Developers to understand technical requirements and ensure the pipeline is as efficient as possible;

• Refine animations and gameplay feel as needed to get the best quality animation within the timeline;

• Actively participate in technical and artistic discussions and problem solving;

• Prepare animations for Importing in Unity/Unreal;

• Prepare refboard for Animations during pre-production stages.

Якого професіонала шукаємо?

• Experience  in Leadership of Animation department, released projects;

• A great understanding of the fundamentals of animation and how they relate to game animation;

• A strong sense of timing;

• Good instincts for realistic and stylized motions;

• Proven working history of professional rigging and animation, supported by a strong portfolio;

• Advanced knowledge of production pipelines;

• Up-to-date knowledge of modern rigging and animation techniques;

• Experience shipping at least one title;

• Experience of making animations for top-down games;

• Strong communication and organizational skills;

• Familiar to work with game Engines (Unity, UE).

Will be a plus:

• 3D modeling skills;

• 2D Animations skills.
