Lead Network Gameplay Engineer

Strikerz Inc. is a videogame-creating collective and an international gaming brand launched in 2016 by a handful of people involved with online football. Currently, there are 250+ of us spread over 5 regional offices in various locations across Europe or working from home (yes, we love it too). Strikerz Inc. is the force behind the UFL, the ongoing online football videogame revolution. Being fans, we aim at offering our players an unprecedented gaming experience available on all major platforms.

На які завдання (обов'язки)?

We are looking for a Lead Network Engineer to join one of our recently created teams. Network Team is in charge of creating high-quality code that guarantees a great multiplayer experience for all UFL players.

You will design, implement and integrate new networking components and build improved networking solutions to support various gameplay systems. Using your strong working knowledge of Unreal’s core architecture you will ensure a stable development environment and optimize game networking performance.

As a Lead Engineer you will provide technical leadership for a team of Software Engineers, take part in hiring, share knowledge, as well as build good working relationships with internal and external partners.

Якого професіонала шукаємо?

• Experience at a Senior or Lead Software Engineer role in the gaming industry;

• Strong knowledge of C++;

• Hands-on experience of creating network code;

• Multiplayer games development experience;

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to present your ideas to a large group of discipline experts and other leads on the project;

• Multi-platform and console development experience;

• English level sufficient for reading technical documentation;

• Passion for game development.
