QA Engineer (GameDev)

Whimsy Games is an outsourcing game development company known for creating innovative and entertaining games for various platforms. With a focus on creativity, Whimsy Games constantly explores new ideas and pushes game development’s boundaries. In the next few years, we are aiming to create bestsellers and become a respectable partner for global GameDev companies.

Now we are looking for a talented QA Engineer for a project full-time cooperation (for 1-2 months or more).

На які завдання (обов'язки)?

• Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements, game design documents, and client expectations.

• Design detailed test cases, scenarios, and test scripts to thoroughly cover gameplay, functionality, performance, and user experience.

• Conduct manual testing to identify defects, inconsistencies, and issues in game features, mechanics, and systems.

• Identify, document, and communicate bugs and issues with accuracy, providing clear steps to reproduce and detailed descriptions.

• Perform regression testing to ensure that previously identified and fixed bugs do not reappear after code changes.

• Test the game across different platforms, devices, and configurations to ensure compatibility and consistent performance.

• Evaluate the game’s user interface, controls, and overall user experience to ensure accessibility and player satisfaction.

• Assess the game’s performance under different conditions, stress testing to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for optimization.

• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and other teams to understand requirements, report issues, and ensure timely resolution.

Якого професіонала шукаємо?

• At least 2-3 years work experience in QA testing (mobile game development required)

• Intermediate level of English minimum

• Proactive and independent

• Good understanding of software testing theory and methodologies

• Strong test analysis, preparation, and planning skills

• Knowledge and skills in testing requirements

• Knowledge of different Testing Methods, Test Design Techniques, and Types

• Experience with Technical Specifications, Game Design Documents, etc.

• Experience with Test Case Management Software (TestRail)

• Ability to build and maintain Test Documentation and Reports

• Strong critical thinking

• High attentiveness to details

• Good communication skills

  • Experience with Task Management System (Jira)

  • Experience in testing games with blockchain and NFT
