Senior 3D Animator

Whimsy Games is an outsourcing game development company known for creating innovative and entertaining games for various platforms. With a focus on creativity, Whimsy Games constantly explores new ideas and pushes game development’s boundaries. In the next few years, we are aiming to create bestsellers and become a respectable partner for global GameDev companies.

Now we are looking for a talented 3D animator for project cooperation (4 months)

На які завдання (обов'язки)?

- Creating animations from "0" characters/objects/creatures for game projects
- Writing scripts to speed up the animation development process
- Selection of materials, reference base for the project
- Work with ready-made mockups and project developments
- Corrections/revisions for technical needs
- Bringing the animation to the desired result
- Maintenance and structuring of animation materials
- Creating/Configuring a BlendSpace

Якого професіонала шукаємо?

- Confident mastery of Maya
- Experience creating basic animations directly in the Unity engine
- Confident skills in rigging and skinning 3D models
- The skill of simulating the physics of hanging objects (tissues, hair, etc.)
- Experience in creating stylized animations
- Knowledge of animation and rig optimization for Unity games
- Experience with PC/Mobile projects
- Basic knowledge of the entire pipeline of creating 3D models for games
- Experience with lip-syncing and facial animation
- Knowledge of anatomy. Solid understanding of object/character physics. Work with weight and dynamics
- Good knowledge of the git repository
- Knowledge of Unity. Importing animations into the game engine
Ability to work with documentation
- Experience in writing and finalizing technical documentation
- Good estimation skills

It will be a plus:

- Knowledge of additional 3D packages such as 3D Max/Blender
- Knowledge of Spine
- Ability to write scripts and animation scripts to speed up work processes
- Experience with animation/cinematics
