Senior UI Designer

Strikerz Inc. is a videogame-creating collective and an international gaming brand launched in 2016 by a handful of people involved with online football. Currently, there are 350+ of us spread over 4 regional offices in various locations across Europe or working from home (yes, we love it too). Strikerz Inc. is the force behind the UFL, the ongoing online football videogame revolution. Being fans, we aim at offering our players an unprecedented gaming experience available on all major platforms.

На які завдання (обов'язки)?

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the broader team to ensure that all UI designs are intuitive, accessible, and enhance the overall user experience. While UX is a shared responsibility across the company, you will work closely with our UX experts to refine and elevate design decisions;

• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for delivering work according to the project’s schedule;

• Execute to a high craft quality bar, work autonomously, and tackle medium to complex features;

• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design techniques to continuously improve the quality and innovation of our UI designs;

• Incorporate motion graphics and animations into the user interface to enhance interactivity and provide visual feedback to players. Create engaging transitions, animations, and dynamic elements that elevate the overall user experience;

• Own the “why” behind design decisions, communicate clearly across the studio;

• Maintain and update our Design System to ensure consistency across the product.

Якого професіонала шукаємо?

• 4+ years of experience designing and implementing AAA game UI;

• A strong portfolio of work showcasing your work and insight into your process;

• Wide experience in creating and maintaining design systems & component libraries;

• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Suite, and prototyping software;

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to both give and receive constructive feedback and the ability to communicate your design concepts and ideas to both internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the project;

• Understanding the challenges and opportunities of designing for console / PC games;

• Deep knowledge of game development pipelines and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have:

• You have a passion for making and playing games and have a strong sense of player empathy;

• A collaborative team player with experience working in Agile environments and on multi-disciplinary teams;

• Encourage experimentation, and design jams or workshops;

• Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices in games;

• Familiarity with Unreal Engine.
