Values Value, a recruiting company with expertise in gamedev, is looking for an experienced, talented, and creative UI/UX Designer for one of our clients, a dynamic American start-up that is developing a modern blockchain-enabled 3rd person shooter on Unreal Engine 5 set in a dystopian world of sci-fi crime.

На які завдання (обов'язки)?

• Collaborate closely with the team to understand and define UX goals for the experience that delivers intense action and encourages/rewards modding and customization in real-time with friends.

• Work proficiently in Unreal Engine 5 to evolve Lyra into a bespoke shooter that enables and encourages players to customize and mod the experience with their friends.

• Create process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups to effectively conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors for multiple environments and audiences.

Якого професіонала шукаємо?

• 3+ years design and implementing compelling UI/UX in core video games

• 1+ first or 3rd person shooter title shipped in a senior role

• Proficient with UE4 or UE5

• Experience designing and implementing compelling intuitive UI/UX in hardcore games using Unreal 4 or Unreal 5 

• Experience encouraging and influencing decisions with supporting rationale

• Passion for games and user-centered design and a fascination for understanding how users experience a product

• Strong understanding of Tactical and/or Arena Shooter principles and can apply them effectively

• Values giving and receiving constructive feedback, documentation, and healthy communication

• Experience building fast-paced first-person and/or third-person shooters

• Robust understanding of PC/console FPS players and their motivations and behaviors

• Can quickly produce a wide breadth of mechanics solutions, and generate and identify an excellent solution
