Senior Environment/Material Artist (UE5)

Nekki is a game development studio, the creator of Shadow Fight Arena, Shadow Fight 3, Shadow Fight 2, 11×11, and Vector. The total number of registered users for our games exceeds 1 billion worldwide. We develop and release games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms.

Currently, we are looking for a Senior Environment/Material Artist for one of the studio's leading projects - SPINE.

SPINE is made with Unreal Engine 5 and centered around cinematic gun-fu shootouts. It's a third-person beat'em'up with a full set of PC gaming features, including a deep storyline, a unique setting, cutscenes, intriguing enemies, memorable bosses, character progression, and, most importantly, breathtaking battles with a wide array of firearms.

This project represents a new ambitious challenge for the company as it marks our first game for both PC and consoles.

• Improve the visual quality of objects and optimize performance.

• Work with shaders and materials.

• Create textures and texture masks.

• Collaborate with 3D artists to work on props and levels.

• Search and implement new technical solutions to fulfill assigned tasks.

Якого професіонала шукаємо?

• Experience with UE 5/4, knowledge of Material Editor

• Experience creating materials for first- or third-person games for PC and consoles

• Experience with Substance Designer

• Understanding the principles of PBR and Material layering

• Ability to independently search for technical information and solutions using various sources.
