Technical Support Lead

Strikerz Inc. is a videogame-creating collective and an international gaming brand launched in 2016 by a handful of people involved with online football. Currently, there are 350+ of us spread over 4 regional offices in various locations across Europe or working from home (yes, we love it too). Strikerz Inc. is the force behind the UFL, the ongoing online football videogame revolution. Being fans, we aim at offering our players an unprecedented gaming experience available on all major platforms.

На які завдання (обов'язки)?

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to strengthen our Tech Support Team. Our team ensures the reliability of game infrastructure by developing and maintaining alerting systems and infrastructure visibility tools. We already have a solid group of engineers and established technical solutions, but we need a strong technical expert to enhance existing tools, introduce new solutions, and elevate the team’s technical expertise.

Our game operates within a cloud-based infrastructure using Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and other modern DevOps technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Own technical roadmap of Tech Support department.

• Provide technical solutions for monitoring and observability tools.

• Oversee, mentor, and develop a team of Technical Support Engineers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to provide high-quality response to any incident

Skills and requirements:

• Proficiency with monitoring systems (Prometheus, ELK)

• Incident & problem management experience

• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies

• Strong mentoring skills, ability to provide constructive feedback

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Scripting skills (Python, Bash)

• Familiarity with GIT (+ branching strategies)

• Experience with Linux systems (+ Network, Security)

• Familiarity with SQL databases (Postgres, MySQL)
